Fran's Fine Editing
I have been writing and editing for the last thirty years. In that time, I have held a wide variety of jobs, in all three business sectors: private, non-profit and government. I have written hundreds of policies, manuals, proposals, memoranda, job descriptions, charts, graphs, scripts, brochures and research papers. I have reviewed thousands of resumes and helped people prepare their own. I have done extensive research using the Internet, libraries, personal interviews and other methods.
In 1992, I was honored to receive the Manuel Carballo Governor's Award for Excellence in Public Service, presented annually to ten people out of a total of 60,000 Massachusetts state employees. This was for creating and implementing a new system to pay state managers based on their job performance rather than seniority.
And just for fun, for the past 13+ years, I have done an enormous amount of genealogical research on my own family's history. It's like solving a huge jigsaw puzzle when you are missing most of the pieces!
Fran's Fine Editing allows me to do for others the work I love most: help them to express themselves effectively so that they can succeed. Please consider my experience when you decide where to go for help. Thank you!
